Left to rest in first-fill, over-charred ex-bourbon barrels before further maturing in large, new European oak hogsheads never before used by Laphroaig, maturation occurs slowly, resulting in a whisky of great depth

ABV: 48% 

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Deep sunset orange.

NOSE: Signature peat-smoke with burnt apricot and raisin.

FINISH: Nut, peat and oiled-wood.

PALATE: Soft oak, notes of rich caramelised dark fruit and dried fruitiness.
